Welcome to Jennings Cottages on Hamlin Lake

Your hosts, Don and Sharon Jennings, offer three clean, well-equipped, comfortable units in a Hamlin Lake neighborhood atmosphere. All units have nice yards with a mix of sun and shade, charcoal grills, picnic tables, portable fire pits, some lawn chairs and a clothesline. A pleasant lake breeze is typical.

All units are within a short distance of our residence, so we are available to take care of what you might need to make your stay most enjoyable. In turn, we appreciate your consideration in the use of our accommodations. We also assume that you will not be entertaining guests without first checking with us.

Items furnished include:
•Fans
•Bed linens and a supply of towels
•Toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap and liquid hand soap
•Necessary cleaning equipment and supplies (Though we clean between renters, we're grateful for your helpful efforts.)

We do not have water frontage, but you will find a number of public access areas nearby - plus Lake Michigan beaches not far away. Or, you may rent a boat or boat slip at the adjacent resort, which would allow you waterfront privileges. We lease a large, covered slip from the resort so we are assured that at least one slip will be available to rent to our cottage guests. There is a very nice concrete launch ramp at the resort and we also have a lot for boat/trailer parking.

All cottages are smoke free. No pets, please.

Reservations & Payments

Advance reservations are suggested. Summer rentals are usually by the week, but a two night minimum will be considered if availability permits. Spring & fall rates are reduced by 15% with two night minimums.

NO CREDIT CARDS. A personal check will be acceptable for a deposit. Check or cash will be needed to pay the balance at check-in. A 6% sales tax will be added to the rental rate. Typically, deposits will be refunded only if units can be re-rented, but some exceptions may apply.

Arrival & Departure

Check-in is between 4pm & 6pm. Check-out by 10am.
Other time arrangements should be discussed in advance.
